New Patient Information

First Visit:    

Your first visit to The Bell Center establishes a vital foundation for our relationship with you. During the first visit, we make sure to obtain important background information, like your medical history, and give you time to get to know Dr. Bell.

In order to correctly diagnose any and all dental concerns, we require dental radiographs (x-rays) at your intitial visit. We also accept radiographs from previous dentists that are less than one year old. Though some of our patients may want to avoid radiation at all costs, the benefit of dental radiographs to correctly diagnose decay and infection outweigh the harm that can occur by misdiagnosing a cavity. If you have any concerns with this policy, please feel free to discuss it with our staff.  

The initial visit also entails an exam performed by Dr. Bell to assess all of your dental concerns, may it be a specific problem area or to attain an entire treatment plan. Dental cleanings are regularly performed at initial visits. Dr. Bell performs the cleanings himself instead of having a dental hygeinist in our office.
